Hotel Excelsior Bay - Malcesine

Stayed here, and it was a bit of a letdown. The breakfast was stale and needed to be fresher-honestly, how hard is that? I also had a semi-basement room with a view of the pool area, weird and not what I expected. A little complimentary gesture would have surely brightened my day, but alas, it didn't happen.

It offers good services and has a hot breakfast choices. It has worth every penny views and nice pools.

That was comfortable hotel set in pretty quiet area, close enough to down to the top road into the town. The staff seemed smart. Good sized and spotless room with comfortable bed, spent our time lovely. A mini-bar, a multi-channel TV and a writing desk were available here. The venue had an amazing location close to Porto Malcesine. The services were friendly.

Friendly staff were really good even packed a breakfast for us. The location is secluded yet a short stroll from the charming center and offers amazing lake views.

Food quality was disappointing with limited choices and unappealing presentation. The dining room felt bright and lacked ambiance which hampered our overall dining experience.

The views from the balcony were fine, and the rooftop terrace offered magical sunsets. I loved how we could stroll to the charming old town in just minutes.

The location is great, right on the lakefront, and just a short walk into town. The onsite parking made life easy and the staff were super friendly, always keen to help out. Chilling on the verandah with that view was def my jam.

Was a bit disappointed with the brekkie. Limited options got old quickly.

Breakfast had a variety of options like freshly baked pastries and cold meats. The small double room was comfortable, with a tv, minibar, and a private bathroom. I enjoyed the infinity pool area with sun loungers and beautiful views of the lake. Super nice team, offering great tips for local sights.

The excelsior offers fine views right by the lake, just a short walk to the town center. The service was standout, with refreshing drinks upon arrival. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of choices to start the day blissfully.

Staying at the Excelsior was a good experience. The spacious pool area offered a serene environment perfect for relaxation. I particularly enjoyed the amazing views of Lake Garda while sipping my morning Prosecco at breakfast. Although the restaurant service had a minor hiccup, the overall ambiance made up for it.

I booked the Budget Single Room, which came with a rather unfortunate view of the basement instead of the lake. The breakfast selection was limited, which left a bit to be desired, and the dining area didn't feel very cozy, lacking the softer lighting that might create more ambiance. Noise from upper floors was noticeable at times, detracting from a peaceful night's sleep.

Everything excellent - location, views, clean room, comfortable bed, breakfast on terrace.

For us it was ideal.
